Take-Out Coffin
Julie Custer and Teresa Redden have created a life-size Chinese take-out box as part of Mary Welch/Wayward Girl Productions’ Ashes to Ashes at the Chapel Performance Space. 20 coffins and music by Steve Peters fill the space.
This artwork inspires Aaron and me to continue exploring the ritual containers that go along with Chinese American food. More to come in 2009.
